"Attaché"; (fr French attach or mend) or Attachée (female form) is the lowest diplomatic rank of the members of the diplomatic corps. An Attaché is a civil servant in the higher diplomatic career and at the same time a consultant of the Consulate and Embassies; a diplomat with specific tasks Attaché of Commerce, Attaché of Military, Attaché of Trade or Attaché of Culture).
